This full-time position will provide quality control oversight for the entire production team and hands-on involvement on the production floor.

Responsibilities will include concrete inspection, process development, document management, and internal & external audits.

Top candidates will be organized, detailed, and process orientated. Additionally, ideal candidates will be innovative and willing to implement new ideas to promote enhanced quality control procedures and operational efficiency.

The QC Manager should have the ability to represent the company to General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Government Officials, and State and independent auditors.



  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control department
  • Communicates company policies and procedures to the Quality Control technicians and adheres to them
  • Create and fosters a culture of Quality at all levels throughout the organization
  • Maintains good standing with all external auditing agencies
  • Create, organize, and maintain all office records and forms in good order (both electronic and hard copies)
  • Ensures Quality System Manual is always current and updated to the latest standards
  • Develop outstanding, low-cost structural concrete mix designs suited per product line
  • Precast concrete industry experience (preferably with an NPCA and/or PCI Certified plant)
  • Conduct research on improving product quality using the latest technology regarding mix designs and additives. Actively participates in developing new products and supporting the company's R&D efforts.
  • Inspection and/or testing certification from ACI, NPCA, or PCI
  • Ability to develop and maintain training records
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.


  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
  • ACI Strength Testing Technician
  • PCI level 1 and 2
  • 5+ years’ Quality Inspection experience working in a company environment, preferably manufacturing or construction
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, interfacing with customers, and developing quality procedures/manuals
  • Experience managing and working with other employees.
  • Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Bluebeam
